The Houston V. Soccer Club (HVSC) was created in 2016 and since it’s inception the club has witnessed a steady growth. The group now has 177 registered members. Membership is open to adult men, 35yrs and above. The group was created to provide frequent socioeconomic opportunities, support and also enriching Camaraderie amongst its members. In 2019, HVSC incorporated with the state of Texas to become a registered corporation with an official address and a bank account.

HVSC is managed by an Executive body that strives to identify specific activities that are most relevant to the Health and wellbeing of all club members such as scheduling Practice sessions every Saturday of the week to keep fit and also make arrangements for Friendly soccer encounters with other Veteran Soccer groups.

HVSC is an affiliate to the National Veterans Tournament (NVT) Committee which organizes an annual Soccer Tournament that encompasses All Cameroonian Veterans Soccer groups in the United States. Our group has received accolades as the best Organized Veterans NVT soccer group. We will not shy away from our achievements and we are proud to announce that in 2018, our group was Finalist at that tournament hosted in Oklahoma, and in 2019 at the same tournament in Delaware, our group won the 3rd place trophy . Our goal of winning the tournament is still very much alive and we hope to accomplish it sooner.
HVSC has never relented any efforts to support members both, in periods of deep Melancholy, and in celebration of Success.

Finally, HVSC has some expectations from all its members. Participation in Club activities while maintaining a Responsible, Courteous and Respectful behavior at all times is a top priority for the club. Members are expected to demonstrate Fair Play, discipline, respect for decorum and Sportsmanship in every practice session or tournament, and even on our social media forums, hence the creation of a Disciplinary Committee designed to achieve and maintain a Satisfactory standard of conduct from all club members.
